Well our 2014 Homecoming has come and gone, and what a day it was!!! What a tremendous turnout by families, friends, coaches, and of course, board members.  I have to admit, I was concerned with what our field conditions were going to be, after the rain fall, in the previous week, but the day turned out to be sunny, the field was damp but not destroyed and as I watched our cheerleaders perform, and our young athletes play, the day was a total success.  I think we showed Tinley Park, that our spirit is alive and we have a great program, filled with great people and great families.
Thank you to all of our Cheer moms, coaches and of course our cheer performers for at great salute to the 1980’s!! It was a fantastic show, and you should all be proud of yourselves.  I know our coaches worked hard on the football side of things, and every game, was played with heart, and intensity, and our teams should be proud of themselves when you leave everything you have, on the field.  So thank you to all of our football coaches as well.
Now our Pioneer troops head out on the road. We play the next 2 weeks on the road, and face our opponents on their home turf.  I am certain that we will continue to show class, and represent ourselves, as the “best program” in the Southwest Midget league and perhaps in the state of Illinois.  I hope our fans, and families will be out there to show our spirit and colors, to help make any “away” game, more like another “home” game.
I look forward to seeing the teams battle against New Lenox, with great intensity, and determination, which can make all the difference in any game.  May we continue to have success at all levels, without injury or problems.  May God Bless our Pioneer Family.
